These Terms and Conditions (T&C) govern the use and rental of Stand Up Paddle Boards (SUP), kayaks, and accessories provided by SUP4YOU, a service by Element Rentals AG, based in Switzerland. The T&C apply to all rental agreements concluded via www.sup4you.ch or the mobile application.

The rental agreement is concluded upon booking via the platform. By completing the booking, the customer confirms having read and accepted the T&C.

• SUP boards or kayaks are rented along with accessories (paddle, drybag, leash, and life jacket).
• Use is at the renter’s own responsibility and risk.
• The equipment may only be used for its intended purpose on public waters.
• Local regulations, especially shoreline and nature protection zones, must be strictly observed.
• Subletting or passing on the equipment to third parties is prohibited.

• The minimum age for rental is 16 years.
• Minors may only use the equipment under adult supervision.
• The renter must be a confident swimmer.
• For distances over 300 meters from shore, wearing a life jacket is mandatory by law.
• A life jacket is included with every rental.
• Use under the influence of alcohol or drugs is prohibited.

• The rental is limited to the booked duration.
• The equipment must be returned within the booked time frame.
• Late returns may incur additional charges.
• The renter must handle the equipment with care and return it properly.
• The renter is liable for damage or loss.

• SUP4YOU is not liable for personal or property damage arising from use.
• Use is entirely at the customer’s own risk.
• The renter is responsible for assessing weather, water conditions, and personal ability.

• Cancellations before the rental period begins are allowed.
• No refund is given for no-shows or early returns.
• In the event of weather-related system shutdowns (e.g. storms), the value can be credited for a future booking.

SUP4YOU processes personal data in accordance with the privacy policy at www.sup4you.ch. Only data necessary for the booking and use are collected.

Swiss law applies exclusively. Place of jurisdiction is the registered office of Element Rentals AG.

SUP4YOU reserves the right to modify these T&C at any time. The version valid at the time of booking applies. Should any provision prove invalid, the remaining provisions remain unaffected.
